This is a very special edition made from recovered ghost nets that had entangled a seal that was saved and released by the BDLMR

This unique, one of a kind eco-friendly pen knife is hand-crafted in Sheffield by a knife maker whose been in business since 1947, the historic home of British blade-making, and features a handle made from recycled ghost nets and ropes found on a Cornish Beach, UK by the amazing charity the bdmlr.org.uk.
In Cornwall recently, the BDMLR Medics responded to a young seal entangled in over 30 metres of net. The largest amount they've ever removed from a live seal. Carefully, piece by piece, the team worked to free the pup who thankfully escaped with minimal injuries.
The net was then sent to us at Ecotribo HQ where it was recycled and reimagined. We have created this very special knife to celebrate the amazing work they do with £10 pounds from each sale going towards the charity to help the work they do.
